Crystal San Carlos production it's done entirely handcrafted, using techniques brought by its Italian founders from Altare (Liguria).

Perfection in all pieces manufactured by hand differs from those produced by a machine.

No matter how experienced or talented is the master craftsman, it is impossible to eliminate all minor variations.

These variations, however, give to the handcraft crystal its special charm and make it so desired.

Each slight variation or small difference are the artisan brand, testimony that each piece is unique and unrepeatable.

Small bubbles the size of a pin head are not considered defects or failures since they occur during the fusing of raw materials

and do not affect the quality of the piece.

Cords or streaks are visible only when light is reflected in a certain direction and they can not be seen whether the piece contains water or other liquids.

These lines are the result of the density difference which occurs during the melting process.

These variations are the natural result of the handcrafted crystal.
